1 day (8 hour) course. Palestra Group International has developed a One Day Officer Safety Issues for Undercover Operators Course. This course focuses on the basic officer safety issues faced when supervising, supporting, covering or operating as an undercover. Highlighted are the pitfalls and dangers associated with criminal cases prone to violent acts and the use of confidential informants. Using a stepped approach students are provided with a comprehensive plan to mitigating risk and fluid situations. Students are also provided with the techniques and skills to achieve a positive outcome when faced with tenuous and hazardous situations.
