This one-day introduction training is designed for law enforcement officers who want to learn and who routinely use undercover operations as one of their investigative techniques. The course is designed to provide the students with the knowledge and skills to successfully and safely conduct and properly document their undercover interactions. One of the major investigative tools used to combat crime and organized criminal activity is UNDERCOVER! Original undercover techniques coupled with today’s technology gives law enforcement officers the ability to dismantle criminal organizations. The training will consist of instruction as well as the showing of several recent videos of undercover operations where different undercover techniques were utilized based on case specific needs and intelligence. Training will include the psychological aspects of Undercover work and Undercover techniques used to be a successful Undercover Detective. The training will include the importance of Undercover backstops, Prop/equipment used, and Safety Operational Planning.
