National Guard Counterdrug Schools

National Guard Counterdrug Schools provide no-cost counternarcotics training to Federal, State, Local, and Tribal Law Enforcement agencies, as well as community-based organizations, and military personnel in order to enable them to disrupt, degrade, and defeat drug trafficking organizations and transnational criminal organizations that threaten United States national security interests and the public safety of United States citizens.

There are five National Guard Counterdrug Schools:

Regional Counterdrug Training Academy: Meridian, Mississippi

RCTA features advanced tactical training facilities – MOUT, weapons ranges, driving course w/ skid pad, rappelling tower, land navigation, and access to 144,000 acres of training area and ranges at Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center, MS. Courses delivered through classroom training, on-site and mobile training teams, and NGB distance learning computer lab (24 Station).

Multijurisdictional Counterdrug Task Force Training: Camp Blanding, Florida

MCTFT has a 25 acre training facility with access to more than 73,000 acres of training areas and ranges. MCTFT offers on-site training, mobile training teams, custom course design, online training, and distance learning from a catalog of over 79 courses taught by Military personnel and/or civilian subject matter experts

Northeast Counterdrug Training Center: Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania

NCTC training facilities include a high risk entry facility, polygraph training center and distance learning classrooms. NCTC specializes in on-site tactical training and mobile training teams throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. NCTC offers a catalog of over 60 courses taught by Military personnel and/or civilian subject matter experts.

Midwest Counterdrug Training Center: Camp Dodge, Iowa

MCTC provides training on-site or through mobile training teams with special focus on small and rural agencies. Most courses are placed in the Midwest and SW Border. MCTC teaches over 50 courses taught by Military personnel and civilian subject matter experts.

Western Regional Counterdrug Training Center: Camp Murray, Washington

WRCTC specializes in providing relevant military led training that is tailored based on agency needs and problem sets. Training is delivered by both civilian and military personnel. Resident courses are available on Camp Murray and via mobile training teams throughout the western United States.
